Diagnosis and treatment of bone metastases

Carlo presented last month with chest and lower back pain
Chest radiograph and CT scan revealed 2 metastatic lesions in the right thorax
MRI of the spine revealed metastases in the T10, T11, and T12 vertebrae
Immediately after his diagnosis, Carlo began treatment with daily sunitinib on a 6-week cycle(4 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
