ZOMETA: SRE Types
  • ZOMETA provides a 36% overall reduction in the risk of SREs vs placebo (HR, 0.64; P=0.002)2
  • ZOMETA extended the time patients with advanced prostate cancer spent free of SREs by 5.6 months (16.3 months vs 10.7 months with placebo)2
  • ZOMETA may deliver greater benefit when used early—before patients become symptomatic7
    • In an exploratory analysis, ZOMETA demonstrated a greater reduction in the risk of SREs when given to patients without pain than when pain had already occurred (19% vs 9%, respectively)
