ZOMETA in Advanced Cancers

Lung Cancer

Key treatment guidelines recommend ZOMETA in patients with advanced lung cancer and bone metastases6

  • A 2007 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) panel of experts recommended ZOMETA treatment for patients with advanced lung cancer, based on assessment of their general medical condition and expected survival time6
    • Treatment should continue for up to 2 years even if a patient experiences a bone event
    • Therapy may continue beyond 2 years based on an individual risk assessment
